Community Life

Addison Pointe combines things that seniors want; supportive medical services, rehabilitation, fellowship, a beautiful residence and compassionate staff to create a healthy homelike environment. In addition, we continue to add options that promote healing and hope.

We know the more active our residents are; the more likely they will feel healthy in both mind and body. That is why we encourage residents to visit our dining rooms, activity area, small group classes or head out for a facility sponsored shopping trip.

Enjoying the Area

Each day we offer delicious meals with food options to satisfy every taste. In addition, we stage daily events that encourage social and interactive engagement with other residents and staff. After breakfast meet up with a neighbor for coffee in one of our beautiful lounges and catch the latest neighborhood news. Plan the day according to how busy they wish to be. Visit the activity center to finish a puzzle or head to an exercise class to build up strength. Make sure to leave time to play cards with new friends and do not forget the evening activity, which may be a country and western singer, or some other exciting evening event that is sure to draw a smile.

Our staff has been carefully selected and trained to meet the needs of our residents. Whether the need is comfort or deciphering a unique illness our team will be there to support, encourage and provide the care needed.

This place is questionable. My husband's health began to deteriorate the moment he went into Addison Point. They... allow his elderly mother to live there in his room. She is very abusive to my husband but to everyone else she is a charmer. She sleeps in a recliner in his room and bathes in the public restroom. She leaves for a few hours during the day so the administrators are not onto her. Now I cannot visit my husband because his mother told them to ban me. They even went so far as to call the police and have them issue me a trespassing warning. But when they need paperwork for their insurance/business office, who do they call? His wife, me. I don't know what is going on. The last time I visited my husband, he was hallucinating. I don't know if he is safe, if he is a victim of a nurse or aide? I would just like some answers.read more

I spent 3 weeks at addison pointe. Every place has there ups and downs but this place was amazing. The entire staff... was so caring and enjoyable. They were always there when i needed them. They are just amazing. That is just the nurses and aides. The rehab part is something that is hard to put into words. When i got there i could barely stand. My legs were so swollow. I was also very depressed with my situation. They not only got me up and walking in 3 weeks, but also pulled me out of my depression. I came home today, 7-12-2019. I am so motivated to lose weight and get my life back. They did that with their kindness and knowledge. They have totally changed my life. I owe them everything. I truly love each and every one of them. I truly believed they saved my life. 5 stars they deserve. If u need rehab, go there. U wont b dissapointed.read more

This place is terrible to work! It's nothing but drama and they point certain people out to pick on constantly. And... they treat there employees horribly they all wanted to leave when the new place down the street opened. I wouldnt recommend putting any loved ones here.read more

This place is heaven sent! After over 10 years of two other nursing homes (which included uncleanliness, and constant... worrying over my brother's lack of care and attention), this facility is a godsend. I would compare it to an elegant hotel except with the added attention to detail with his care. The director truly cares about and interacts personally with the residents, the nursing care is stellar, and the rooms are immaculate. Also, the social activities are designed to really involve the residents. On top of all of this, with the expertise of the speech therapist, my brother is now eating again!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you, Addison Pointe.read more

My experience was amazing. I chose Addison Point Rehab for their state of the art rehab equipment. Rehab staff is... extremely supportive and finds what you need to achieve your goals. If you are not willing to put forth the effort you will not reach the goals. Medicare requires a measurable amount of progress.....but you the individual must be an ACTIVE participant. Staff is VERY much invested in your success. Thank you for everyone who helped me be successful in MY GOALS!read more

First, let me say that the facility, staff, and medical staff are to be commended for the job they do. My mother has... been rehab there twice. But the very real part of my review is to make people aware that this facility, as with all facilities of this nature is TO MAKE MONEY ! Yes they care for your loved one, but in all reality money is the bottom line. My mother was discharged with the same medical issue that took her there. Why ? Because money ran out. Medicare said....time for her to go. We had to bring home a woman who was unable to care for herself due to the condition that took her to Addison. So be aware...what determines your loved ones care, is not love, not medical necessity, and not dedication to their jobs. But.....the bottom dollar !read more
